Super Sitters Class
Ages 11-18
Need babysitting skills? This workshop will teach you what to do in case of an emergency, how to connect with children of different ages, and that preparation is the key to a successful babysitting experience. This seminar will give you, and the families you work for, the confidence needed to be a Super Sitter.
(First Aid/CPR Certification not included)

Open Mic Nights
Ages 12-18
Bring your musical or comedic talents and gain valuable experience performing in front of an audience. We welcome any teen who desires a performance place to share their music, poetry, or humor. Are you interested in making short films, music videos, or a funny commercial? Our Film Club explores the in’s and out’s of film and will introduce you to the latest high definition video equipment and Mac programs such as IMOVIE, Final Cut and Garageband. Music Lessons (Intro to Guitar)
Ages 12-18
Learn basic guitar with our trained instructor. Lessons are 30 minutes and an acoustic guitar is provided for the lesson.

Music Recording Sessions
Ages 12 to 18
Learn how to record your own music through Mac computer programs and make your own CD. The Y Teen Staff will assist you through this exciting process. Recording times are available by 2-hour blocks.

Friends & Servants
Ages 13 - 18
The purpose of Friends and Servants is to intervene and invest in the lives of troubled youth ages 13-18. Youth can fulfill court requirements while giving them a positive work experience. Participants are encouraged in life goal setting and enhancing their work skills by working closely with positive adult mentors.
