Baby Bugs

Parent & Child: Ages 18 - 36 months

Join in with your Baby Bug, in a parent and tot style class for balance, coordination & skill development. 30-min class.

Tumble Bugs

Ages 3 - 5

Your child will be introduced to the art of tumbling in a fun and active learning environment. 45-min class.

Jitter Bugs

Ages 5 - 7

Children develop coordination, balance and athleticism in this graceful sport. They build body awareness and self-confidence as Y staff guide and challenge them through a progressive curriculum, offering caring recognition and positive reinforcement. 45-min class.

Tiny Stars

Ages 3 & 4 yrs
Our tiny stars learn cheers, dances, jumps and more! Kids will learn fun and exciting routines and learn to work together as a team!

Ages 5 & 6 yrs

Mini Sparkles learn cheers, dances, jumps and more! Kids will learn fun and exciting routines and learn to work together as a team! New skills and routines will be worked on as participants progress!

Kids Dance

Ages 6 +

Learn to dance and move to the beat of music.

Beginning Karate

Ages 4-6

This skill building program is focused on developing discipline and character traits in our younger students. We do this through martial arts and self-defense skills. Uniforms are optional; contact the instructor on the first day of class for information. Boys and girls 4-6 years. 45-minute class. Karate

Ages: 7-14

Our Karate program emphasizes enhancement of the individual, both physically and in terms of their character development and personal growth, through practical self-defense and clean martial art technique. Participants must demonstrate mental and physical focus for the 45 min. class. Fun and Fit Program

Ages 10 - 15

The YMCA and Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital are collaborating to provide a well-rounded program for children and families dealing with weight management issues. For children ages 11-16 who are at, or above, the 85th percentile for BMI.  We work with participants on their path to a healthier lifestyle by focusing on three areas: physical exercise, nutritional information, and behavioral coaching. All participants must have a doctor’s release. Must have five (5) participants minimum per class*.

The YMCA has instituted a voluntary 3-tier fee system specifically for this program. Our goal is to serve all community income levels. You may choose the tier that is most suitable for you.

Tier I:  Significantly subsidized rate which does not reflect the full cost of the program  
Tier II:  Partially subsidized rate for those who can pay a little more but does not reflect the full cost of the program 
Tier III:  Closely accounts the full cost of the program

Soo Bahk Doo Moo Duk Kwan - Karate

Ages 6-13

Korea’s most traditional and oldest martial art form is now at the YMCA under the U.S. and World Federation. For more information on the art of Soo Bahk Doo, visit http://www.soobahkdoo.com/. Participants must demonstrate the mental and physical focus for the 45 min. class.

Pre-Ballet

A continuation from pre-ballet to beginning ballet. Working on flexibility, rhythm, and technique. Taking pre-ballet first is recommended by instructor but not a requirement.  Class is 1 hour.

Ages 10-15 (Schedule with a Wellness Coach)

In communities across the country, the Y is the leading voice for health and well-being, working every day to bring children and families together to have fun, be healthy, get active and grow together.  YMCA's Healthy Kids Day is our largest national event supporting our focus on healthy living. 

Join us for FREE kids and family activities. Open to YMCA members and Non-Members. The YMCA will be the host site for games, family classes, prizes, healthy snacks and much more. The first 200 kids will receive a FREE T-Shirt. Bring your family between 10am and 12pm and join us in this community focused event.
