YMCA School-Age Care provides peace of mind for parents looking for a well-supervised, caring environment where their child is active and engaged. Children will participate in arts and crafts, homework, sports and games, field trips and more. YMCA School-Age Care programs are a great time for homework and school studies as well as organized play! YMCA Kindergarten Care will be a continuation of regular classroom activities and recreation.

Types of Care

 Before School

 6:30am until School Begins

 1/2 day Kindergarten  9am -Noon or Noon - 3pm
 After School  When school gets out until 6pm (also includes care on early release days)
 5-Day Package  This part-time package is for parents who only need care 1 or 2 days a week

DSHS Accepted

Financial Aid

The YMCA's Scholarship program is designed to assist families who do not qualify for assistance through DSHS or other financial aid programs. Scholarship applications are available at any YMCA Member Services desk or by callnig 777.YMCA (9622). To download the application click here.

How to Register

1. Obtain a Registration Form from any YMCA location, online or at the Corporate Office.       
2. Fill out forms and do one of the following:
            * Mail to: 1126 N Monroe St., Spokane, WA 99201
            *Fax: 509.343.4096
            *Drop Off at: 1126 N Monroe St., Spokane, WA 99201
3. When you receive your confirmation packet you will need to fill out the child information forms and take them to the YMCA Site at your child's school on their first day. 

Tax Information

The YMCA Childcare Division does not automatically send out a tax statement to participants. If you would like a statement for the 2010 tax year please contact Steven Troup at 777.YMCA (9622) x 400 or Stroup@ymcaspokane.org. Statements are mailed out every Friday starting January 7, 2011. Statements can take up to two weeks to process, so please plan ahead.

School's Out...YMCA is IN

Grades K - 6

The YMCA provides programs on curriculum days and some school holidays for kids in grades K - 6.
Hours are 6:30am - 6pm. Separate registration is required and you must register one week (7 days) in advance if you plan to have your child Attend. One-page flyers will be availabe at school sites 2 weeks prior to registration deadline.

What to Bring:
Parents please make sure your child has a sack lunch & drink, swim suit & towel, and weather appropriate clothes for inside and outside play.
