Introductory Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
For children with little or no previous swim instruction experience. Age is the only prerequisite. Children will work on water adjustment, beginning skills and water safety.

Guppy

Beginner Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
For children comfortable in the water, going underwater, floating on their backs and swimming about 10 feet on their own. They will work on arm strokes, both front and back, front and back floats, breathing and treading water.

Minnow

Advanced Beginner Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
Swimming independently on both front and back. Comfortable in water over their head and able to swim the length of the Lap Pool (25 yards) for endurance. This class teaches skills such as: front and back crawl, elementary backstroke and endurance building.

Fish

Intermediate Beginner Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
Children should be able to complete all of the skills in Minnow. They will work on additional strokes such as: breaststroke, sidestroke and butterfly.

Flying Fish

Advanced Intermediate Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
At this level children work on building endurance and refining their strokes. More advanced skills are introduced.

Shark

Advanced Level – Ages 6 to 14 years
Continued refinement of all the basic strokes and endurance are the main components of this level. Personal safety and the safety of others is emphasized.
