Shrimp/Kippers
Parent & Child: 6 - 18 months
Parents and children ages 6 - 18 months old get a fun introduction to the aquatic environment. Tots learn water adjustment and basic swimming skills that will prepare them for preschool levels. Parent/child teams enjoy socializing with one another.

Inia/Perch
Parent & Child: 18 - 36 months
Children ages 18 - 36 months start moving independently though the water with parents' guidance. Children go to an instructor on their own, becoming comfortable on their fronts and backs while floating, gliding and kicking. They also jump into the water with assistance and are able to blow bubbles and do bobs by the end of the Perch level.

Pike
Introductory Level: Ages 3 - 5 years
Children aged 3 - 5 years learn safe pool behavior, adjust to the water and develop independent movement in the water. Upon completing the Pike level, kids can float for 10 seconds on their front and back, as well as paddle 10 yards with help and 5 feet without help on their front, back and sides. Games and songs in addition to float belts may be used.

Eel
Beginner Level: Ages 3 - 5 years
Children 3 - 5 years who are comfortable with submerging their face in the water can join Eels. At the end of this level, children should be able to paddle on front, back and side for 15 feet without support and 20 yards with support. Breathing patterns are introduced.

Ray
Intermediate Level – Ages 3 to 5 years
Children review previous skills, improve stroke skills, build endurance by swimming on their fronts and back and learn to treat water. Upon completion, kids should be able to paddle on front, back and side for 20 feet without support and 25 yards with support. Children will feel comfortable in deep water and will learn breathing with strokes and sitting dives.

Starfish
Advanced Level: Ages 3 - 5 years
Children 3 - 5 years old review learned skills and refine their strokes. The focus in on increasing endurance and independence. To complete the Starfish level, children will paddle on front, back and side for 40 feet without support.
