Novice Swim Team
All skill levels – Ages 6-18 years
A great introduction to competitive swimming. Practices focus on technique, conditioning and having fun! Swimmers need to be able to swim the length of the Lap Pool (25 yards) without stopping.

Lifeguard Training
Advanced Swimming Skills – Age 15 and older
This lifeguard certifications course includes American Red Cross CPR and First Aid instruction, books, pocket mask and other materials needed. Participants must attend every class session to be eligible for certification. 4 hours per class.
Pre-requisites:
- 15 years and older
- Swim a sontinuous 300 years - first 100 yards Freestyle (crawl stroke), second 100 yards Brest Stroke, last 100 yards swimmer's choice of Freestyle or Brest Stroke.
- Swim 15 yards Freestyle or Brest Stroke, dive 9 feet, retrieve 10 pound brick and bring it to the surface then swim with brick back to starting point.

Aquatic Post Rehab
All Skill Levels - All ages
The YMCA's Aquatic Wellness Post Rehab program is designed to provide the support you need on the road to recovery from orthopedic injuries, muscular, cardiovascular and other chronic conditions. This program is intended to continue your recovery once your physician or physical therapist treatment ends.
This is an individualized exercise program within a small group setting, which allows a lot of time for individual attentin so our Aquatic Specialist can support your specific needs. Our goal is to prepare you to return to the activities you enjoyed before illness or injury.
