Challenge Course Facilitators- Camp Reed
Challenge course facilitators are needed to lead team building sessions on our outdoor challenge course. Proven training or ability to attend the necessary 30 hr trainings course required. Must enjoy working outdoors, interacting with people and show the ability to work in a fast paced, flexible environment. Part time as needed, $13.11-15.45 DOE. Facilities Engineer- North
The North Y is seeking a part time Facilities Engineer to assist in maintaining a large commercial building including boilers, pools, fitness equipment. The Facilities Engineer maintains a clean, safe work environment as a member of the Facilities team. Must have High school diploma or GED and a minimum one year experience in like facility, commercial building or building maintenance. Knowledge in electrical, pools, mechanical systems preferred. $10.00-$11.32/hour DOE. Part time, 28 hours per week. Please submit a resume along with your completed application Attention: North Facilities Engineer. Facilities Engineer - Valley 
The Valley Y is seeking a seasonal Facilities Engineer to assist in maintaining a large commercial building including boilers, pools, fitness equipment. The Facilities Engineer maintains a clean, safe work environment as a member of the Facilities team. Must have High school diploma or GED and a minimum one year experience in like facility, commercial building or building maintenance. Lifeguards– Valley
The Valley Y is seeking Lifeguards and Swim Instructors for all shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.  Lifeguards are responsible for safety and rule/policy enforcement, area surveillance, and some maintenance/cleaning duties. Current Lifeguard, CPR/AED, First Aid and BBP certifications required. Part time, free membership is provided for staff. Lifestyle Coach- All facilities & offsite
The Health & Wellness Department is seeking staff for our Diabetes Prevention Program. The Lifestyle Coaches will provide support and guidance to participants and implement standard curriculum provided by the YMCA. The emphasis of the program is behavior change in a supportive environment.  Must have strong communication skills, the ability to build strong relationships with individuals, the ability to build community within a group and have empathy for health seekers. Must be flexible to work with a wide variety of people; detail, data and computer savvy. Knowledge of basic health, nutrition and fitness is encouraged and understanding of behavior change required. Minimum of 2 years of college and 6 months experience in a related setting. Wages DOE. Part time, starts at 6 hours a week. Flexible schedule is a must. Novice Swim Team Coach- Valley
The YMCA is hiring a Novice Swim Team coach for the Valley Y. Must have experience running practices and coaching at meets for ages 6-18 of all skill levels.  Past experience coaching in Novice Leagues and running swim meets is preferable. Water Exercise Instructors- All facilities
The Aquatics Department is seeking Water Exercise Instructors to teach classes at all facilities.  The Y offers General Water Exercise, Arthritis, Active Older Adult and Silver Splash classes. Experience and/or Certifications in teaching these types of classes is preferred. Part time, free membership is provided for staff. Wages DOE. Youth & Government Program Leader- Corporate
The mission of the YMCA's Youth & Government program is to teach Democratic values and skills to youth through hands-on experience. Our teenaged participants receive training and experience through active participation in the three branches of government: Legislative, Executive, and Judicial. Students also participate in Mock Trials where they deliberate social issues and their possible solutions through debate. We are looking for a Program Leader with exceptional relational, organizational, program-building, and budgeting skills. Candidates must be self-efficient and able to work independently to establish curriculum, a strong contact base, community support, and relationships with other youth-serving organizations. Entry requirements are a 4-year degree in Political Science, Secondary Education, or equivalent and a background in legislative policies and/or debate. State-wide travel is required. Position is part time, 10-13 hrs per week. $10-11.50/hr DOE. Please submit a resume and cover letter along with your completed application Attention: Youth & Government. Youth Investment Staff- Valley
Youth Investment staff work with troubled teens involved in the Juvenile Justice System. Duties include green house and gardening operations and leading various projects with 3-5 volunteers at a time.
