Refund & Credit Policy
All refunds* are subject to a $5.00 service fee, unless a credit voucher** is issued.
YMCA member joiner fees, program deposits, registration fees, and gift certificates are not refundable.
Membership cancellations must be received by the 9th of the month if you wish to cancel for the current month.
If you cancel a class enrollment 5 days or more prior to the start of the program, a credit voucher will be issued or you may request a refund which will be net of the service fee. Cancellations made less than 5 days prior to the start of a program will be issued a credit voucher or a transfer to another class.
Cancellations made after the program has started and before the program midpoint is reached, will be refunded at 50% (regardless of whether you have attended or not). A credit voucher will be issued or you may request a refund which will be net of the service fee. After the midpoint is reached fees are not refundable.
Please notify the YMCA if you have two or more absences due to illness, accidents, or other emergencies. Credit can be given by the Reception Center for up to two of the missed classes, however, additional credits must be approved by the Program Director. All requests must be made prior to the end of the class session.
The YMCA reserves the right to cancel a class when there is inadequate enrollment. Typically, classes are cancelled 24 hours prior to the first class. If the YMCA cancels a class that has a fee a credit voucher will be issued or, if requested, a check for the full refund will be issued.
In those instances in which program space is limited and staffing levels are tied to attendance, additional conditions may apply and are disclosed on the YMCA’s web site and in the program brochure for those programs.
*Please allow two weeks for refunds.
**Credit vouchers can be applied to any YMCA program and can be used by any family member. They are NOT redeemable for cash. Vouchers expire 6 months from date of issue and upon expiration are recorded as a contribution to the YMCA of the Inland Northwest.
